Mission

ANPPCAN-Ethiopia strives towards realizing the wellbeing of children by creating enabling environment for their normal growth and development, provision of psychosocial support for vulnerable children, prevention of child migration and trafficking and rehabilitation of victims, work on sexual reproductive health and take part on community led development programs benefiting children, youth and women.

Organizational Identity

African Network for the Prevention and Protection Against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN)-Ethiopia is a non-political, non-religious, not for profit nongovernmental local organization established in 1990, and re-registered as an Ethiopian Resident Charity Organization in 2009.

African Network for the Prevention and Protection Against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN)-Ethiopia is a Resident Charity registered under registration number 0385. It had 98 staff members (M=67 and F= 20) out of which 40 are professionals and 31 semi professionals (program staff) and 32 support staff.
ANPPCAN-Ethiopia is operating in three regions of Ethiopia: Amhara (North Wollo and North Gondar), SNNPR (Sidama) and Oromia (North Shoa) and in Addis Ababa City Administration.
